Showcase Our Open Air Photo Booth
A photo booth at a tattoo convention? Many fresh and exciting people will be attending, most like having their picture taken. This year we took a shot at the annual tattoo convention, the 2017 Philadelphia Tattoo Arts Convention. The event took place at the Pennsylvania Convention Center on February 10-12, 2017.
The Venue
First of all, setting up the photo booth at the venue seemed odd and out of place. We were among a handful of non-tattoo related businesses at the venue. But, after thinking about it for a few seconds, being different and unique is precisely the point of the tattoo arts convention. Ultimately twenty-five thousand people walking through the weekend-long event, it was an excellent opportunity for folks to see the photo booth.
Experience
Many people stopped to experience the open air photo booth and get a photo taken. Oddly, many photo booth guests were surprised to bring home a custom print out. Plenty of families took the opportunity to get a quick family photo. Also, with Valentine's Day a few days away, couples walking through the convention took the chance to get a quick Valentine’s Day photo. Groups of friends were just hanging out struck a pose, snapped a shot and brought home a customized photo print.
